NEW N2 FORM: OBLIGATION FOR NRA REGISTRATIONS BEFORE END OF FEBRUARY 2026
People that rent out their Spanish home to tourists since 01-07-2025 have the obligation to register their regional tourist license (RTA/VTAR, etc.) in the National NRA Registry. The NRA Registry now introduced the following obligation:
In February of every year the rentals periods of last year need to be officially declared through the Land Registry.
Owners that don´t comply with this rule, will lose their NRA registration which makes their RTA license illegal, and they won´t be able to rent out through the commercial platforms anymore. Therefore the authorities have introduced the obligation to declare the rental periods and amounts of renters through the N2 form of the Land Registry.
